Consumer Protection in Sales of Insurance: Requirements and Prohibitions 30 minutes Banks that sell non-deposit products such as insurance and annuities must be sure to maintain compliance with the Consumer Protection in Sales of Insurance regulations. This brief program, designed for any bank personnel involved in the sale of insurance and/or annuities, examines why consumer protection rules were established, which practices are prohibited and why, how and when to make required disclosures, and the major exceptions to disclosure rules.

Interbank Liabilities

Federal Reserve Regulations F, Y, LL, and MM 40 minutes Regulations F, Y, LL, and MM are regulations of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System that govern limitations on interbank liabilities and the activities of bank and savings and loan holding companies. This course provides an overview of each regulation’s rules and procedures. International Banking 30 minutes Intended for bank executives, the board of directors, and the accounting department, this course provides an overview of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), including what constitutes bribery, the importance of following proper accounting provisions, elements of an effective compliance program, and penalties for noncompliance. 30 minutes This course, intended for management, explains and defines International Banking Facilities (IBFs), including criteria to become and IBF. Services provided by and advantages of IBFs will also be covered. IRAs and Education Savings Accounts 60 minutes This course, recommended for employees with high customer contact, identifies the common characteristics found in IRAs, the aspects of Traditional IRAs and Roth IRAs, and the differences between the two. Students will also learn the benefits and requirements of a Coverdell Education Savings Account. 30 minutes This course provides an overview of IRAs, including the differences between traditional IRAs and Roth IRAs and the benefits and requirements of a Coverdell Education Savings Account.
