Alejandra Krasnow Senior Director, Product Policy Conference of State Bank Supervisors

Alejandra works on a range of state supervision issues with state agencies and the industry, developing policies and practices to advance the State Examination System as a collaborative and standardized regulatory supervisory platform. Alejandra has over 15 years of financial services industry experience. Before joining CSBS in 2019, Alejandra handled regulatory compliance matters at Ally Financial Inc., including the organization’s state examination program. Prior to Ally Financial, Alejandra worked at the American Financial Services Association (AFSA) where she regularly interacted with federal and state regulators on behalf of the industry, and established AFSA’s regulatory compliance program for the association’s nonbank members. Alejandra has extensive experience in the public advocacy field, having served in both AFSA’s state, and federal government affairs department. Alejandra is a licensed attorney in the state of New York; she received her law degree from the Bolivian Catholic University; her Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in International Business Law, from the American University Washington College Law.
