Matt Lambert Deputy General Counsel, Policy Counsel of State Bank Supervisors

Matthew Lambert is Deputy General Counsel, Policy at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors. In this role, he develops and represents legislative, regulatory, and legal positions for state regulators before federal, state, and non-governmental bodies including Congress and the federal banking regulators. Matt also provides support to the Multi-State Mortgage Committee, the body charged with coordinating the examination and supervision of mortgage lenders operating in more than one state. Matt has a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law - Newark, where he was a Dean's Merit Scholar and received the Academic Achievement Award for Corporate Law.
