Record Retention Proposed Policy License records will be purged whichever is later of the following: • 10 years after the date that the licensee no longer has a valid license or maintains a registration on the System,

• Files containing reg actions or containing T&E investigation flags will not be purged • Certain data points can be downloaded before files are purged from • Will include a litigation hold. • Dormant & disabled accounts will be purged five years from the date they became dormant or disabled.

• 5 years after the last test completed, or

• 3 years after pre-licensure education completed.

• Remove “disabled” accounts

• When a record does not meet the policy parameters, there is no nexus to a state, and the record is not in an active status the record will be purged three years from the date that the record entered the non-active status.
