Tom Chandler counsels established companies on strategic legal issues with business implications, with a focus on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. Tom has over 35 years of experience as outside counsel managing the day-to-day legal affairs for a wide range of businesses, including healthcare payors, suppliers and providers, property developers, construction material suppliers, automotive dealers, and nonprofit organizations. He represents businesses at all stages of the corporate lifecycle. Tom has served on the board of directors of a community bank for more than 14 years, as a director of a private construction materials company for over 25 years, on the advisory board of a fiberglass fabrication business, and as an interim president of a company following the untimely death of its prior president. This experience has provided him with keen insight and realistic experience that makes him a trusted advisor to directors, officers, shareholders, founders, and others on both legal and practical issues impacting a business. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Tom practiced for many years at Hawley Troxell in Boise, where he chaired the corporate practice group.
