Large Bank Supervision On-Demand Training
Background & Introduction The exponential growth of large banks over the past decades has had a significant impact on the state financial regulatory environment. Not only has this growth necessitated more large bank examinations, but it has also placed stress on state financial regulators to either acquire new examiner talent or to skill, reskill, or upskill existing staff to meet increased exam demands. By and large, state financial regulators have found that it is more timely, efficient, and effective to build large bank examination capability with the staff they have. This training catalog is designed specifically to support agencies and examiners in building large bank examination competence and proficiency. It not only details CSBS’s on-demand and immediately available introductory large bank courses, but also documents the multitude of offerings focused on the various risk areas associated with large bank supervision.
