Change Control

Upon completion, any changes (updates, additions, deletions) to the infrastructure (applications, datatbases, hardware, telecommunications, personnel) should be incorporated into the DRP document.

It is the responsibility of each officer/manager to send all changes affecting the DRP to the custodian within 2 weeks of the change being made.

Approval

The approval Team, the Security Officer, and Network Admnistrator meet on an annual basis to review, correct, and update the Disaster Recovery Plan. That meeting will take place prior to the budgeting process so that financial needs can be addressed prior to the allocation of funds.

Off-Site Storage

Applications

Application copies are stored on the main file server. Original disks are currently stored in the main branch but should be moved off site.

Backups

All files are backed up to the main file servers in the Main Branch. The Main Branch file servers are backed up to a file server at the Bigmart branch.

Initial Response Declaration Authorization

The President and executive Vice Presidents are authorized to declare a disaster based on the assessment of the System Administrator.
