Memo to the Board The following are sessions that have been conducted in regards to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Bank’s Privacy Policy. January 19, 20XX An employee meeting was conducted in the Lobby of the main Branch. Employees were instructed on how to be aware of customer information and how to protect customer’s privacy. There was discussion on physical security, shredding customer information when no longer needed, and locking desks and offices. May 25, 20XX An employee meeting was conducted in the Lobby of the Main Branch. Topics discussed included the bank Secrecy Act (BS), GLBA and Bank’s revised Privacy Policy. Employees were also given a test for BSA. Sign in sheet available. June 17-18, 20XX Bank conducted a Personal Banker training that included all relevant polices including GLBA and a reminder about the Bank’s revised Privacy Policy. A copy of the new Privacy Policy was passed out to everyone and will be distributed to customers starting the week of June 20. Sign in sheet available. All employees are required to complete the GLBA training on Regulatory University on an annual basis. This training is conducted on the computer. Every employee will read all the information provided about GLBA and then will complete a test at the end. All employees must score at least an 80% to pass. Reports can be viewed to show participation and test scores.
