• Key tasks in initiation & planning include: – Begins when an opportunity to add, improve or correct a system is requested. A business need is identified (requires stakeholder involvement) – Feasibility study outlines scope, cost/benefit, functional requirements, Project factors. – Creation of Project Plan that refines initiation phases further identifying specific activities for the project. – Creation of Business Requirements Document – Key areas include Project Overview, Requirements, Roles and Responsibilities, Communication, Management, Budget, Testing, Deliverables.
