Self-Driving Car Activity: One Pager [template]

Summary: The team would organize an activity for racing a fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car driven by reinforcement learning. The activity would include training participants ahead of time and conducting the live race at headquarters. After discussions during Pitch Day, we may want to consider hosting the event as a virtual event instead of using physical cars. We will need to do further research to find out if that is practical. Desired Outcomes: Active online participation - Measured by number of employees who view training, login to console, and train a model - In person participation at one site - Measured by number of people who attend physical location and drive car with their model. Next Steps: - Interest in the activity and willingness to participate - Measured by number of signups in initial survey -
