levels out. Exponential will display an exponential trend line, which is a curved line that is most useful when data values rise or fall at increasingly higher rates. Power will display a power trend line, which is a curved line that is best used with data sets that compare measurements that increase at a specific rate. A polynomial trendline is a curved line that is used when data fluctuates. It is useful, for example, for analyzing gains and losses over a large data set. Next, we will add the forecasting option located at the bottom of the format panel. We click the check box one and select how far out we want to forecast. I selected 8 quarters.
