A phone number a user does not recognize or an unsolicited phone call. You can verify official Ring phone numbers. 590 An email return address that looks like it is from an individual, such as a Gmail address. Unfamiliar links or attachments asking a user to click on something Misspelled words and poor grammar Scare tactics and urgent requests Extreme or strange messages that do not make sense Interacting with a bad actor pretending to be a “Ring Agent” on a website other than Ring.com. 24.1.3 If You Think You May Be Interacting with a Bad Actor If someone claims to be from Ring, and you suspect they are not, do not give them your personal information. Within Control Center you can: See all devices (phones, tablets, computers) that are logged in to your Ring account. Click “Remove all” to force devices to logout. View and manage the services you authorized to link to your Ring account via Ring authentication, like the Alexa App. Here you can remove any individual service, at any time.
24.1.4.1 To Access Control Center In The Ring App: Open the Ring App and tap the three lines on the top left. Tap Control Center in the side menu to access account functions.
24.1.4.2 How to Use Privacy Features in the Ring App Ring offers several ways to use privacy features in the Ring App, and how to inform others that Ring devices are in use to include, creating privacy zones, disabling audio / video streaming and recording and if a user has a Ring Protect plan.
