12.7.1.3 On iPhone or iPad  Open the Settings app. 

Tap your name, then tap iCloud .

 Scroll down, tap Advanced Data Protection , then tap Turn on Advanced Data Protection .  Follow the onscreen instructions to review your recovery methods and enable Advanced Data Protection.

12.7.1.4 On Mac 

Choose Apple menu > System Settings . Click your name, then click iCloud .



 Click Advanced Data Protectio n, then click Turn On .  Follow the onscreen instructions to review your recovery methods and enable Advanced Data Protection . 12.7.1.5 Enabling Account Recovery On iPhone, iPad, And Mac Before turning on Advanced Data Protection, users will need to set up Account Recovery. This ensures users can recover their data if they forget their password.  Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad (or System Settings on Mac), and then select your Apple ID banner at the top of the menu.  Select iCloud .  Select Advanced Data Protection .  Select Account Recovery and follow the onscreen instructions to set it up.  During Account Recovery setup, users will be able to select a recovery contact, a trusted person such as a family member or friend who also owns an Apple device. They will receive recovery codes if users ever forget their password.  Users will also have the option to set a 28-character recovery key, which they will need to print out and keep somewhere safe, or store in a password manager. Android 13 Updates Android 13’s latest update focuses on privacy and security, personalization, and large -screen devices. Like the latest update for iOS 16, you can check to see if their phone is compatible with the latest version of Android. 12.8.1 Updated Privacy Dashboard Andro id’s Privacy dashboard has been updated to show you which apps have used permissions over the past seven days. This is a big step up from the earlier limit of just 24 hours. To do so:

 Go to Settings > Privacy to check out the permissions you have given to apps.
