New Account Fraud Prevention 120 minutes In this course, recommended for frontline personnel and their supervisors, you will learn how to recognize the different types of account fraud schemes, determine six steps for detecting fraud in a new account interview, and indicate how to list applicant identification documents and standards for acceptance. You will also learn how to analyze suspicious applicant behavior, understand the decision-making process for opening an account and how to identify fraud prevention methods used in electronic account opening. Additionally, you will become familiar with how to verify an applicant’s signature and information gathered from ID documents during the account interview. 150 minutes In this course, intended for new accounts representatives and new accounts supervisors, you will learn the importance of disclosures, disclosures required under the Truth in Savings Act, the requirements of the Expedited Funds Availability Act, the disclosures required for IRS reporting, the requirements of Reg D, and required disclosures under Reg E. 60 minutes In this course, intended for new account representatives and new account supervisors, you will learn how the Fair Credit Reporting Act governs institutions, Bank Secrecy Act requirements and when to complete a Currency Transaction Report, what violates the Right to Financial Privacy Act, how to reply to loan inquiries, what Reg O is and how it applies, and what the Bank Bribery Statute is and how it applies. 60 minutes In this course, intended for new accounts representatives and new accounts supervisors, you will learn how to determine what the FDIC covers and the required signs, recognize the purpose of HMDA and the required signs, identify the purpose of CRA and the required notices, and recognize the Fair Housing Act and the required posters. New Account Orientation: Reg and Disclosures New Account Orientation: Regs and Liability Prevention New Account Orientation: Regulatory Signage Check Fraud Prevention 90 minutes This course, recommended for any employees who handle checks, will help you detect check fraud schemes and show you techniques to prevent them. You will learn the parts of a check and their functions, and you will also recognize signs of criminal behavior during an attempt to pass fraudulent checks. 20 minutes Intended for frontline personnel, this interactive course identifies the differences between ACH, wire, and remittance transfers; the most common use(s) for each kind of transfer; and the required information and disclosures for each kind of transfer. In addition, learners will recognize how to identify suspicious transfer activity. Regulations addressed in the course include NACHA Rules, Regulation J, Regulation E, and BSA/USA Patriot Act. 30 minutes Intended for frontline personnel, this course provides an overview of common check fraud schemes, methods of prevention, and the behaviors that employees should carry out to protect both themselves and their institution.
