Who is an MLO? 5 minutes This mini-course focuses on the SAFE Act’s definition of a mortgage loan originator, based on tasks performed. The course is intended for compliance officers; HR departments that create policies and procedures and maintain the Registry; and any staff member who fits the definition of an MLO, including mortgage lenders, processors, and underwriters. Regulation B 5 minutes This mini-course focuses on notification obligations for financial institutions when they take adverse action on requested or existing credit accounts.
