MMC Current Initiatives

 Mortgage OCOE Protocol and Examination Standards  Two mortgage OCOEs scheduled in 2024.  CSBS Strategic Plan measure to conduct a minimum of 10 OCOE exams in the 2025 ‐ 2026 exam cycle.  Implement standard AFRs / information requests.

 Develop standard exam procedures in 2024 for the Mortgage Examination Standards initiative.  Increase agency adoption / usage of SES and the number of agencies accepting and leveraging exams.  Mortgage Lender/Servicer Risk Monitoring Framework and Reporting  Revisions to MMC Mortgage Exam Manual  Increasing coordination among states and with federal agencies  Determining the lead and participating agencies for all upcoming MMC exams (Q2 2024 – Q1 2025)  A request for participation survey was sent to all agencies on Nov. 13 with a response date of Jan. 5, 2024. There are 9 MMC exams scheduled, including the 2 mortgage OCOEs.
