Best Practices for Discussions

• Coordinate with regulatory staff – Conduct a “round table.” Get feed back from exam team on examination issues and recommended ratings. – For ratings that result in a “3” or lower, touch point with the EIC of the S&S examination. IT ratings impact the CAMELS Management rating.

• Be aware of standard practices and expectations for communications

• Support overall examination findings and recommendations

• If you state requires electronic workpapers, then any paper documentation must be scanned and examiner handwritten notes must be scanned or transcribed. – Ensure documentation that supports any findings and recommendations is retained in the workpapers.
