For licensing data, CSBS is working on an NMLS Record Retention Policy and is contemplating a ten-year record retention timeframe, which would begin and run from the date a licensee no longer has a valid license or no longer maintains a registration on the system. The Policy would provide that a litigation hold would toll the retention period. Does your agency have any objection to the proposed Policy?
