2010 Dodd-Frank Act Most significant amendments to Title XI since 1989 legislation . • States required to established AMC regulatory programs (FRTs) • AMCs required to be on ASC National Registry and pay a registry fee • Expanded ASC grant program from 1 eligible grantee to 56 • ASC required to establish a hotline to refer complaints of • USPAP violations • Appraiser independence violations • ASC required to hold public meetings • Interim enforcement authority over State appraisal programs • Increased, but still limited rule making authority
