ADVANCED METRIC FUNCTIONS

We can use the visualization gallery to quickly select the visualization used to display your data in a dossier. Gallery is located on the far-right side of your dossier. They have a large range of charts available. See the image to the right. We see our default is the grid-based display which shows our data in a tabular format. The charts we will focus on in the upcoming exercises consist of the line chart and pie chart.

INDIVIDUAL VISUALIZATION FILTERING In this section we will create two versions of the same graph and have one display state chartered and the other display non state chartered.

CREATING A VISUALIZATION

EDITOR We will add Quarter to the Rows and Count of Banks to the Metrics section. Then with Visualization 1 selected we will click the line chart in the gallery section. Please see Figure 5 if you are having trouble locating the line chart.

Now duplicate Visualization 1 using the 3 dots on the top right. In figure 5 the mouse is hovering over it. Then click and drag the copy below Visualization 1.
