Josh Robertson Chief Administrator – Regulatory Cybersecurity Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions

Joshua D. Robertson, CISA, CRISC, M.B.A., B.S., is the Chief Administrator of Regulatory Cybersecurity for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions (TDIF). He oversees IT regulatory efforts for all banks, public trusts, credit unions, and non-deposit entities chartered by the State of Tennessee. Mr. Robertson also serves as the TDFI’s Emergency Services Coordinator to act as a liaison between the TDFI, Financial Institutions, and the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency in disaster situations. From 2014-17, he served as the Information Technology Examiner for the East Tennessee division and was appointed Regional Supervisor of the East TN division in July of 2017. Mr. Robertson began his employment with the TDFI in 2010 and continued to advance in his Examiner status, progressing to a Senior Examiner position where his main focus was IT since 2012. Mr. Robertson is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
