Christopher Knight Cyber Policy Analyst United States Department of Treasury

Chris Knight serves as a Cyber Policy Analyst for US Department of the Treasury (“Treasury”) in the O ffi ce of Cybersecurity and Cri Ɵ cal Infrastructure Protec Ɵ on (OCCIP), suppor Ɵ ng the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS), Cybersecurity and Cri Ɵ cal Infrastructure Protec Ɵ on (CCIP) and the Director, Domes Ɵ c and Interna Ɵ onal Cyber Policy. In this posi Ɵ on, Mr. Knight is responsible for suppor Ɵ ng Senior Treasury o ffi cials and execu Ɵ ves in cybersecurity and resiliency policy development for the fi nancial sector. Addi Ɵ onally, Mr. Knight serves as the Advisor to the Chief AI O ffi cer for Governance and Policy within Treasury. In this role Mr. Knight advises the Treasury Chief AI O ffi cer on safe and responsible AI use within Treasury and its sub components. In support of this, Mr. Knight led the development of Treasury’s AI Governance Board, currently serving as its Secretariat, as well as developed Treasury’s Compliance Plan for OMB Memorandum M-24-10. As a collateral duty, Mr. Knight serves as a Board Member for the Treasury's Veteran Employee Resource Group. Prior to joining OCCIP, Mr. Knight served with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's Na Ɵ onal Risk Management Center as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist, conduc Ɵ ng risk analysis focused on the IT and Communica Ɵ ons Sectors. Before his Ɵ me at CISA, Mr. Knight worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Intelligence Analyst, suppor Ɵ ng the Defense Intelligence Agency's cyberthreats to DoD Networks team. Mr. Knight is also a re Ɵ red U.S. Army Reserve Non-Commissioned O ffi cer, having served as both a Human Intelligence Collector and as an Informa Ɵ on Opera Ɵ ons Planner. Mr. Knight holds a BS in Security Technology, an MA in Interna Ɵ onal Rela Ɵ ons and Con fl ict Resolu Ɵ on, and an MS in Informa Ɵ on Management. Mr. Knight is also a graduate of the ODNI Intelligence Community Advanced Analyst Program and holds mul Ɵ ple cer Ɵ fi ca Ɵ ons to include: BlueDot Impact’s AI Safety Fundamentals (Governance), PMI Project Management Professional, ISC2 Cer Ɵ fi ed Cloud Security Professional, and Cisco Cer Ɵ fi ed Network Associate, among others.
