17.9.7 Facebook Facial Recognition And Active Status  Facebook describes facial recognition as “ Our technology analyzes the pixels in photos and videos, such as your profile picture and photos and videos that you have been tagged in, to calculate a unique number, which we call a template. We compare other photos and videos on Facebook to this template and if we find a match, we will recognize you. If you are untagged from a photo, or video, information from those untagged photos and videos is no longer used in the template. If your face recognition setting is set to off, we delete the template” as stated in their help center post at the following URL . 435  Disabling active status allows you to run on the service private from other users and Facebook friends.

17.9.8 Facebook Contact Removal Tool You can access the link here entitled "What contact info would you like us to look for?" . 436 The tool lets you enter your phone number or your email. Meta will search across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger to see if they have your contacts. If Meta finds your information, it will delete the data and prevent it from being uploaded again.
