Pandemic Planning (Cont.) • A Pandemic is an event that essentially has a global impact • It is usually caused by a virus that is easily spread amongst the general population • There have been several such events over the history of the modern human race that caused severe illness and death • Although Pandemics don’t occur on a regular basis, when they occur, they can cause massive disruption for Licensees that are not prepared. • COVID 19 has forced mass staff teleworking, supply chain disruptions, dealing with customers, etc.
