California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

 Applies to businesses that:  Have annual gross revenue of $25 million+  Buy or sell the personal information of 50,000 or more consumers, households, or devices per year; or  Derives 50 percent or more of annual revenues from selling personal information  CCPA requires that vendors be prohibited “from retaining, using, or disclosing personal information for any purpose” other than the purpose of the vendor contract
