California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Applies to businesses that: Have annual gross revenue of $25 million+ Buy or sell the personal information of 50,000 or more consumers, households, or devices per year; or Derives 50 percent or more of annual revenues from selling personal information CCPA requires that vendors be prohibited “from retaining, using, or disclosing personal information for any purpose” other than the purpose of the vendor contract
